Ugly Drinks seems to have quietly shuttered operations
- raidicy 5y agoWell that's a bummer. They were one of the VERY few seltzer companies that offered Dr. Pepper, cola, and cherry cola SELTZER. It's incredibly hard to find reasonably priced traditional soda flavours in seltzer form. La croix has a "ni cola" but it's around $10 / 8 can case. Which is insane, but pricing of seltzer is another story.
- cameronh90 5y agoI'm in London and I've literally never seen or heard of them.
- Hallucinaut 5y agoMost Holland & Barrett's have them I believe. Though that store is so full of snake oil it's been a couple of years since I've seen them.
- cardiffspaceman 5y agoThe article points out that it is hard to start a brand for any beverage and cites competition from Coca Cola and Pepsi. But to me the big thing is you can go to Aldi, Costco, or literally any store that sells soda and also find La Croix or Belle Vie in massive stacks, even on end-caps sometimes. And there's "hard selzer" versions of this stuff. I'll drink any brand that has "watermelon" flavor. Article also misspells "Bubly".
