Ask HN: Good, lightweight 2D animation engines for Android/iOS
What are our options if we want to include interactive animations in our app and want them to be as lightweight as possible. Rive seems like one option. What are other ones? We'd want something that allows for skeletal animation, but a physics engine is not essential (Unity and Blender seem like overkill.) Thank you!

- ChaitanyaSai 5y agoThanks! This actually does help. We had encountered Lottie earlier in our search, but didn't explore it enough. The size compression it achieves is in itself a big advantage.
