Are you sure you didn't get bluffed out by their IR emitter? Chromecast with Google TV contains an IR emitter to handle that, and IR is the default not CEC.

- m-p-3 5y agoI can change the volume from another floor (I tried out of curiosity), and it also controls the TV volume through the Android TV Remote. My phone doesn't have an IR emitter.
