I wonder how Snapchat could be any popular or hyped. The only time I encounter it are Tinder profiles trying to sell me over Snapchat their time-expiring photos for EUR 30 per item.
- 100011_100001 5y agoSnapchat already came and went. TikTok killed it. There are still people using ICQ, but it doesn't mean it's not dead.

- FranksTV 5y agoSnapchat is privacy. You can send a snap and it's deleted -- and importantly your mom can't find the pictures of you smoking weed.
- KSPAtlas 5y agoI tried using Snapchat once and as a privacy conscious person, it felt more like spyware than an actual program. So many dark patterns and automatic turning on of cameras. I shared as little data as I could and I still got recommended family members. TL;DR: DO NOT USE SNAPCHAT
- cercatrova 5y agoThat is not why people use Snapchat, it's for privacy from other people, not privacy from the corporation itself.
