They use Instagram
- betwixthewires 5y agoNo they don't, that's old news. 28 year olds chasing validation use Instagram. It's on its way out too. Real young people use discord, Snapchat and tiktok.
- poisonarena 5y agoNah they def use Instagram, but more as a landing page, Its not cool to post a lot, people in their 20s will have their old posts, rarely posting new ones, but with updated stories.. Teens will have 1 or ZERO actual posts(much cooler), and sparingly use stories, and the stories collections/archive on display above posts are the 'new' way to post. Hardly know any teen or 20 something that uses snapchat as tiktok replaced it years and years ago
- mcv 5y agoThe point still stands, though. Tiktok tracks just as much user data as facebook does. What we should be doing is use non-commerical, decentralised, people-centric social networks that aren't looking for every opportunity to monetise everything.
- johnamata 5y agoTrue except for Snapchat, it was never popular here in Asia. Instead of snapchat, zoomers here use FB Messenger, often under a throwaway FB account. It is the same for their tiktoks, also using a throwaway account/anonymous. A stark contrast from millennials/boomers who use their nickname or even their real name on their social medias
