If legit self-driving capabilities became available, I feel pretty confident in saying that there's a sizeable consumer market for this that are not sensitive to the price. I would immediately drop an extra 30-40% on a car if that's what it cost to get that self-driving. For those that are more price-sensitive, well, new cars become used cars in a relatively short amount of time.
