Apple launches driver’s license and state ID in Wallet with Arizona
- mark_l_watson 5y agoI am an Arizona resident. This does not work for me. The Apple Wallet app on my iPhone does not show the “Add state drivers license” option.
- Someone 5y agoI wondered whether, I f you use this, you would have to unlock your phone and hand it over to a police officer, if they ask for your ID. Reading https://learn.wallet.apple/id https://learn.wallet.apple/id, that, fortunately, isn’t the case (“Your ID information is presented digitally between your device and a reader, so you’ll never need to show or hand over your iPhone or Apple Watch”) Now, I wonder whether you can trust every officer to have such a reader.
