My feeling is that the trucker protests in Canada and D.C. were ostensibly about masks, vaccines and personal freedom, but a lot of people pointed out that didn't make sense since mandates were lifted, so they had anxiety about something else. I think the actual anxiety is about being put out of work by self-driving trucks. Truckers can see the future of trucking and don't see themselves in it. Nobody seems to be working on a plan for the millions of workers whose skills will no longer be needed. How Many Truckers Are There?
