I think we're seeing a repeated need for an ability to have some kind of reversibility. The question is: can it still be accomplished in a decentralized way? For example, could there be a mechanism to reverse transactions that required majority vote? With the idea being that it would have to be this sort of high stakes attack in order to garner the votes.
