The influence of Intuit and H&R Block is basically meaningless compared to the wealthy in this country that benefit most from the complicated tax code.
- stjohnswarts 5y agoThe complication is because of all the loopholes carved out for them and a byproduct of that process.
- giantg2 5y agoNot just for them, but in general it's the fact that we use tax code as a means of policy implementation. So we end up with all sorts of complicated deductions, credits, taxes, etc because politicians want to promote or discourage some action.
