I recall in the 90s and early 00s, my classmates would suddenly break bad and join gangs. it was sort of the thing to do. it did make me feel a bt lonely since i was neither bad or good but im glad i stayed out of it. even by association you could be attacked but i was young.... seems like a lot of them were minors when they joined so their records were wiped clean....since they work in tech now
