That gray area strongly favors Krebs. They have to show Krebs knew that there wasn't a cover up. Krebs can make an affirmative defense that basically says "this honestly seemed like a covered up to me" and win
- giantg2 5y agoI agree. But it will likely cost tens of thousands of dollars and years of his life to defend it.
- starwind 5y agoHe may be insured against defamation cases. My umbrella policy explicitly covers me is someone sues me for libel or slander
- InTheArena 5y agoRemember that he doubled down after the report came out that this was a insider attack. The first time he could have been taken at face value. The second time? Seems closer to willful ignorance.
