it should be made illegal to vote on bunch of separate laws as one package
- bigthymer 5y agoThe president used to have the power to line-item veto but I think it was taken away during or soon after the Clinton era.
- rsfinn 5y agoPresident Clinton was briefly given this power by the Line Item Veto Act of 1996 [1], but "its effect was brief as the act was soon [in 1998] ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court".
