- mikewarot 5y agoA brilliant design. I suspect the main problem, as he has already shown, will be finding a reliable source of motors, and noise free encoders. Thanks for showing us what is possible, and for pointing out the supply problem in advance. I suddenly feel a case of historical deja-vu. The Antikythera mechanism was probably made of materials and techniques remembered from before the collapse of the bronze age. It was a high-tech gee wiz device made from unobtanium as well. I hope our supply chain issues get worked out, and those parts get made domestically again.
