Product Hunt is a mystery to me
When I build something, I usually do a Show HN and sometimes get a lot of attention.
Product Hunt is supposed to be similar, right?
But when I post something over there, it seems to just go into a black hole and disappear. There is no "new posts" page or anything. How is anyone finding out about new posts on Product Hunt? How do posts over there get their first upvotes?
- altdataseller 5y agoIt's all gamed. Most people just tell their friends/coworkers/other tech bros to upvote their product when it's launched.
- visox 5y agoYou buy upvotes or have a large network and ask people. Its as shitty as it sounds.
