- Apocryphon 5y agoFor now. Cryptocurrency hacks are like EVE Online news, where there would be a story every few months about a massive heist totaling tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars of real-world currency, or yet another bigger battle that destroyed enough vessels equivalent to that amount. Just people outdoing themselves every time.

- CydeWeys 5y agoIt ended up being worth billions, but at the time of the back years ago, Bitcoin was much less valuable than it is now.
- lalaland1125 5y agoThat wasn't defi. That was a more traditional exchange hack.
- swarnie 5y agoIm not sure i understand the difference between various cryptoscams. Is that the one where people launder money by buying jpegs?
- salt-thrower 5y agoThe amount that was stolen in that case is worth billions now, but at the time of the theft it was only a couple million. It has since increased in value which led to the “billions” headlines.
