Isn't that (coverage) something like an insurance?
- beardyw 5y agoThat's what I thought. Well I thought - that is insurance. In the UK it is heavily regulated an I would quake at the thought of getting into it.
- Pavleu 5y agoSee... that's why it's not insurance, its ... coverage, more precisely coverage for damaged items, cuts & burns
- Pavleu 5y agosomething like insurance, but not... if it were insurance it would have to be regulated, have an underwriter, extra insurance licence, able to declare bankruptcy when we feel like it, would need to ask for permission all the time etc... This one is 'coverage' it's just between you and us, it's incredibly personal and fast, honestly
- Desvil 5y agochecked the website, seems like one but it's actually not insurance
- jaclaz 5y agoOk, not-insurance, and "only between you and us", but I am failing to understand how it works in practice. There are/will be not-claims about damaged items, cuts and burns, delivered with video proofs. Will these not-claims be not-examined by a not-inspector and somehow estimated to a (unknown) value that will be either covered or not-covered by coverage, possibly depending on a number of (unknown) factors?
- Pavleu 5y agoLol, yes... that's done (reviewed/verified) internally by our team. The non-not-claims will be reviewed by pavleu to ensure we have a replacement item in stock, your claim is not fraudulent, weather a payout is required or not etc As a user you can make 2 claims monthly... etc We're currently revenue +ve & growing
