Google has seriously struggled to be financially successful in anything other than selling information about you to others (via “targeted” ads). That means that they’re going to be increasingly desperate to maintain their data collection abilities. No obviously means no, but until they are forced to Google will keep playing these “well we assume you really probably do want this so we’re just going to go back and mark you down for a yes again, but you can say no again if you’d like” games. Of course the reason they do this is they hope people don’t notice and/or forget to just keep saying no everytime this happens. Don’t be evil? This is evil.
