Yes, sorry, I meant "why". Quite an annoyance for those of us who idly highlight stuff while reading.
I hadn't heard of Kagi. I haven't found meta search engines like Duckduckgo to give me as good results as Google (or as Startpage, which just uses Google). Is Kagi better in that regard? Looks like it requires an invite though, and will eventually be paid.
- Gys 5y agoI only switched to Kagi yesterday. So far so good, this search was a very good example. I also tried DDG for a while but for me Google worked better. Kagi is not a meta one, I believe, but I do not know much more. Yes, I got an invite some days ago. Maybe because I signed up for it a while ago, but I do not remember. I do not mind paying for a search engine that actually works. I value my time. Google nowadays reminds me of Altavista back in the day. Lots of results but mostly irrelevant.
