So, after the bullshit Rally for Rivers publicity stunt[0], Jaggi Vasudev is back for an encore? How on earth did this nonsense upvoted on HN? 0: https://thew

    > Regardless it's not about Sadhguru. It's about the soil No, it is about Jaggi Vasudev needing a new publicity exercise. > not everything you read on the internet is real. This is rich coming from who linked to a video claiming putting soil under shade is what is need for conservation. No mention of something actually useful like no-till agriculture. But then again, actual solutions don't lend themselves into the awareness slacktivism that this scheme is all about. Outlandish nonsensical ideas are entirely par for course when it comes to Jaggi Vasudev. After all, this is the galaxy brain that gave us past hits like: - Children should not be vaccinated for flu[0] - Depression is caused by overeating and lack of exercise[1] - Mercury can be solidified by energizing it and is not toxic[2] - Food turns to poison during an eclipse[3] - Cancer is not a disease[4] > We are ministers, heads of states, actors, sports personalities, news channels, youtubers, podcasters, etc. You left out the largest demographic: Clueless yuppies regurgitating fashionable nonsense. And it's rather telling that you didn't include farmers. Because again, this is about visibility and publicity. Not about actually doing something useful. > So this 30,000km journey is really helping. Oh, I'm sure its doing wonders for his brand. Say what you will, the man knows how to market. > A policy book is also being prepared accommodating features and conditions from each geographic region with specific and actionable guidelines. This could be adopted as formal governmental policy directly. Right, because something as trifling actionable policy can wait. PR though must go on. 0: https://web.archive.org/web/20200420202043/https://isha.sadhguru.org/in/en/wisdom/article/anti-vaccination-movement-sadhguru-views https://web.archive.org/web/20200420202043/https://isha.sadh... 1: https://twitter.com/SadhguruJV/status/789658881135960064 https://twitter.com/SadhguruJV/status/789658881135960064 2: https://isha.sadhguru.org/in/en/sadhguru/mystic/rasa-vaidya https://isha.sadhguru.org/in/en/sadhguru/mystic/rasa-vaidya 3: https://www.thestatesman.com/world/lunar-eclipse-2018-what-sadhguru-jaggi-vasudev-says-about-it-1502577063.html https://www.thestatesman.com/world/lunar-eclipse-2018-what-s... 4: https://twitter.com/SadhguruJV/status/827780767010807809 https://twitter.com/SadhguruJV/status/827780767010807809
