- LAC-Tech 5y agoMy posts only get greyed out when people can't handle the truth!
- warning26 5y agoAbsolutely! Furthermore, when this happens, you must always edit your comment to complain about downvotes! It's tradition.
- LAC-Tech 5y agoHNs down-voting mechanism has definitely trained me - pavlov dogs style - to only write things that people here will like most of the time. Working as intended?
- syshum 5y agoJust need to train your brain to get that dopamine hit from the down votes... Let their anger and displeasure fuel your happiness :) Hmm I wonder if that is healthy....

- LAC-Tech 5y agoTempting... but then you go too far in the opposite direction and assume people only disagree with you because they're just too dumb. I think the ideal is to take the feedback, consider it, but feel free to discard it. But at least consider that you said something dumb or didn't express it as well as you could have.
- TOMDM 5y agoI prefer to edit my comments to be far more reasonable after being down voted in ways that make the replies look unhinged /S
- zem 5y agohuh, that would be awesome, actually! would 100% improve everyone's experience of the site without any sort of collateral damage.
