Roman Abramovich suffered suspected poisoning at Kyiv talks
- incomingpain 5y agoHmm, russian media isn't covering this at all. BBC sure does seem to bendover backwards to not make accusations. I appreciate that they did this. >The symptoms included "eye and skin inflammation and piercing pain in the eyes", Bellingcat reported. I guess they are asserting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blister_agent https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blister_agent Since he didn't even really know. I would rule out stuff like mustard gas. Probably this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewisite https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewisite It's probably going to be minimal as well, not a direct attack on him. Where's the actual attack? Just guessing but it probably means he was near some of these chemical weapons in a casual way. No attack happened, he was just getting shown and maybe there was a tiny bit of contamination? Did we just find out that Russia has a stockpile of this stuff and has decided against using it? Obviously still havent used nukes.
- verdverm 5y agoThree of the Ukrainian negotiators also had the same symptoms https://mobile.twitter.com/bellingcat/status/1508463513013997580 https://mobile.twitter.com/bellingcat/status/150846351301399...
- incomingpain 5y agoOh interesting. That's quite the discovery. So Ukrainians got poisoned and BBC isnt reporting on that and the russian media isnt reporting on anything at all. This is very intriguing.
- verdverm 5y agoThe BBC did report about the Ukrainians as well, at least in what I saw.
