So... $36 billion per year, roughly.
Biden's 2022 budget was $6 trillion, or about $16 billion per day.
In the extremely unlikely event that the money actually gets collected (rather than being finessed by tax attorneys and accountants), it would fund the federal government for less than 3 days.
- belter 5y agoAnd we get to know, that 3 days of US federal government, is 1 day of Elon Musk :-) "How world's richest person Elon Musk made $36 billion in a day" https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/markets/stocks/news/how-worlds-richest-person-elon-musk-made-36-billion-in-a-day/articleshow/87268068.cms https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/markets/stocks/news/how...
- Turing_Machine 5y agoAh, but Musk doesn't make that kind of money every day, but the government spends that much every day. Musk also paid more taxes last year than any other American in history.
- belter 5y agoMusk paid more taxes last year than any other American in history...At an effective tax rate....Lower than any average American in history... While at the same time complaining, and seeking validation about it.
