- beardyw 5y agoPersonally I have used calculus rarely. I wish I had had a better grounding in statistics. I suspect that may be true for others.
- sebg 5y ago"better grounding in statistics" - agreed! I used calculus in some finance (risk/trading) in an early life. You may not be surprised that you're not the only one that considers that statistics should be taught earlier / more / as a replacement for calculus. Certainly with all the machine learning / data science / ai work that's going on, people will need both if they want to learn about those fields.
