This. Lumber prices are down 30% since March 1st, but still 250% up since COVID.

- thematrixturtle 5y agoIf pre-covid index is 100, the current price is 250, which can be expressed as either 250% of the previous price or a 150% increase in price (up by 150%). English is hard.
