I've never noticed an improvement from 5G over LTE. What I care about most is reliability of some low but usable amount of bandwidth, as opposed to maximum bandwidth. Both 5G and LTE are annoyingly unreliable for me (wandering around in Silicon Valley).

Yeah, going for a walk round Seattle on a VoIP conference call on either 4g or 5g, and both drop out for half the trip

5G on higher frequency could be less stable while moving.
