2. None of this is out-of-your-mind crazy, and totally believable to find something like this in the timeframe they found it in(40k BP is after the "accepted" Out-Of-Africa theory date).
Of course the CCP propagandizes everything they can so something like this is denoted as "In China"(to hilariously draw connections between them and people who were no probably no more Chinese than you or I.) If you are familiar with this topic(Stone Age technology) you could probably think of sites 60k+ years older than this one in Africa or the Levant that are significantly more interesting than this one, but it's still news worthy.
