I use a 4k 49" tv on my desk as a monitor. Let's me snap 4 screens to the corners. The neck strain isn't great, though sometimes I will underscan the screen and that fixes the neck strain.

I use a 40” screen about 80 cm away, and it’s almost the perfect size. I think it would be even better with a curve, because text right on a corner (like a terminal prompt) is a bit of a stretch.

  regretfully curved UHD 40” aren’t sold anymore. The MMD Philips BDM4037UW was available from dec '16 till summer '19.

    Too bad, that hits really close — my monitor is a Philips BDM4065UC.

      The Philips BDM4065UC has a better speaker. Conners are difficult to see, in my experience. That’s why I prefer the BDM4037UW and add an external speaker.
