Generate ordered v4-compatible UUIDs in JavaScript
- rantallion 5y agoIsn't this just trying to serve the same purpose as ULIDs? There's a spec for those already and you know what you're looking at when you see a ULID vs a UUID. I would assume that most people seeing a UUID with the version byte set to 4 would expect it to work like any other v4 UUID.
