The word from most federal departments has been “hey, time to come back to the office because… that’s how it was before.” Compare to, for example, ACT Government, which announced months ago that they’re permanently moving to flexible working arrangements. It’ll be interesting to see over the next ~12 months how much federal government talent is lost as a result.
