I’m not quite sure if that’s accurate. The distinction is that Disney isn’t allowing the movies to have for-profit showings. The movies are still widely available on streaming services or to purchase through iTunes. Alien was brought up as an example of a film in the article - the first four Alien movies are on sale for $20 on iTunes right now. This isn’t so much Disney hiding the movies, but more that they’re limiting many to in home screening only.
