Oh yeah, the same Kevin Roose who years ago claimed that early stage startup CEOs made a million (maybe half a million?) a year in cash or something absurd along those lines. I don't have anything against the guy, but he seems completely disconnected from reality when it comes to his writing. It gets clicks, but it also shows either no interest in doing real research, or the desire the create a one-sided narrative.
