Verifying is inherently both easier and less energy intensive than producing. I can critique a great book I couldn't write. I can marvel at John Carmack's early iD code without having been able to come up with it. I can be immensely impressed by what golfers produce for a mundane problem. I'm not saying this is what copilot produces, but the concept could absolutely be useful, in theory.
