> Sometimes, Appropedia has been described as an "appropriate technology wiki," but it is much broader than that —it is a green living wiki for all matters of international development and aid. So that's where the name comes from. I was wondering if there was some complex Latin/Greek meaning there. I think a more specific moniker like "appropriate technology wiki" or "sustainable technology wiki" would be better fitting and more descriptive of the concrete practical information in the site. "The Sustainability Wiki" doesn't really convey what it contains, especially for a hacker audience like here - it sounds too generic making it more likely to be skipped over.
