It's easier to develop and distribute. The web has by a long shot the richest ecosystem for UI development. There are tons of comparatively cheap developers available. Not having a mobile app can seriously inhibit your product, but if it works mostly fine as a web app from desktop or in a wrapper like electron few will complain.
