dumb question but .... isn't it a problem that private ssh keys are stored in ~/.ssh and that any random app, npm dependency, build script, etc could copy them

dumb question but .... isn't it a problem that private ssh keys are stored in ~/.ssh and that any random app, npm dependency, build script, etc could copy them across the network?
- marwis 5y agoYou can password protect them and optionally load them to agent at logon.
