Many people have never realized that self-destruction can feel liberating.

- ativzzz 5y agoThe "liberation" from self destruction is more of a temporary numbness, a borrowed liberation from tomorrow, that disappears once the hangover starts clearing up. It's a false sense of liberation. Speaking from experience.
- ionicgiraffe 4y agoI was not implying that that feeling was good or advocating for it. Just that that feeling appears, even if misguided, and we need to understand it to understand self-destruction loops
