I literally just spent an hour trying to cancel my internet service, 90% of this time was spent interacting with an automated whatsapp bot (Virgin Media for anyone wondering). Answering the same question, slightly rephrased, multiple times each in some insane dark patterns to get me to not cancel. This is basically what happens when consumer rights have completely eroded.
