I agree with you, but I wanted to add this stupid detail into the conversation: USB-C doesn’t ensure that you have any of these features. It’s just the style of connector. You can have best-of-breed USB with any connector type you want, but obviously the most current hardware is using usb-c. Not really relevant, but I know, now, to not have any expectations based on the fact that I’m using usb-c.
