- jeffbee 5y agoIn the California data, there's a pretty clear trend of (pop2020-pop2010)/pop2010. The counties losing population were mostly those under 100k, with the exception of Kings and Butte counties, the latter being exceptional as they suffered from an entire town being destroyed. Note that this means the weighted experience of the overwhelming majority of people is they live in a growing county.
