Stuff like this is really cool. But the problem is that certain clients (as in clients that pay your bills) can't even get public keys to work and we end up allowing password logins. So I don't know how I could make this work in the real world. That's where security ends, when 'it just has to work' because 'they're the ones paying/in charge'.
