Also a good reason: We as a society decided indentured servitude is not a concept we'd like to pursue.
- beej71 5y agoIndentured servitude: nothing to do with ISAs. The only similarity is that you work to pay off a debt. By that definition, car loans, student loans, house loans, credit cards are all "indentured servitude". Look at it this way: if you had a loan where payments were income-based, and where the loan was forgiven after a certain amount of time, would that be indentured servitude?
