Grail – An Extensible Internet Browser Written in Python (1999)
- anthk 5y agoThere were similar browsers in TCL/TK back in the day, such as HV3. Today without a Blink/Servo engine it's a nightmware, except for Lynx/Links where the User Agent it's a bit respected in some sites (Slashdot). Now you have Gopher clients in TCL/TK (Forg) and Python (CLI only, av-1 I think), and for Gemini there's Zain albeit it may need an update; and with Python, Offpunk looks great and adding a TKinter interface on top would be easy.
