I was disappointed by the lack of an "a million dollars isn't cool..." pitch. That being said, I think he did a fine job of endearing himself to the Spotify team by stroking their egos a bit and demonstrating that he's like minded. All you founders here on HN looking for co-founders or partnerships should take note.
