I'm sick of seeing anti-cryptocurrency and anti-NFT vitriol every other day on this site. There are legitimate concerns against cryptocurrency and NFTs but these are rarely addressed in a reasonable way. Instead, I'd encourage people to explore how people are actually experimenting in this space to see what sites like fxhash.xyz and others have to offer. Some things I'd like to focus on in particular are: * Ease of sign on. Cryptocurrency wallets (non-custodial) fulfill the promise of SSO that OpenAuth failed to * Ease of currency transactions. Fiat to cryptocurrency is still painful but once you're in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, transfers and purchases have much less friction * Support of artists. There are some artists that you may know that participate in fxhash. I would encourage everyone to look around, you might be surprised to find people you know and respect on the platform. * Artistic experimentation. There's a lot of interesting code and art that might not exist without a financial incentive.
