Which makes sense, things that sell well also are more likely to be pirated. Has it been shown that piracy causes sales to increase? I've looked around but I haven't found anything reliable.
- ______-_-______ 5y agoThis is the first thing I found on google https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11293-017-9567-1 https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11293-017-9567-1 but there are papers supporting both sides (eg sibling comment). I guess it's not as cut and dry as I made it sound.
