It’s been here. Two weeks ago it was 10-20% of new infections. Now it’s half, but the new infections is down 20% over the last two weeks. Compare to Omicron in a similar time frame - Say December 7 to 21. Entirely different situation
- random314 5y agoNew infections being down 20% over last week is not particularly useful. If 15 out of 100 % (10-20%) infections were BA.2 2 weeks ago, and if it is 40 out of 80 today(half after 20% down). It shows that BA.2 is more than doubling every 2 weeks. Slower than Omicron, but we have a new wave incoming.
