TSLA probably has a significant head-start in terms of technology - but here's a new (call it marketing) feature by Mercedes that actually leap frogs over Tesla in terms of perception on the product. I think in 3-5 years everyone else will have caught up to tesla and we'll have a more level playing field, mainly in terms of the technology and AI. And "marketing" features like this help accelerate the closing of the gap.
