Personally, a better framed question which works for me is - “What options did you consider and how did you choose this option?”
- jmtulloss 5y agoAgreed, there are lots of ways to explore the problem space. The OP framing can be helpful when the manager has context on solution X and its pros and cons so it’s helpful for the team to explain through a shared understanding.
