What's the difference?

  The attitude. The "micro" of microservices belies a religious zeal that more and smaller services is an unmitigated awesome thing and we should always strive for more of it. "Services" is for people who think it is a necessary evil, to be deployed under the right circumstances.

    I see. I guess I've been lucky enough to be on teams that haven't thought of microservices that way.
